the carnitas i ordered was literally half fat. there was so much fat on the pork it made it a bit nauseating to eat. the chips and salsa were fresh, and the service was fine; it's the fatty meat that gave it the low score.

We ordered through doordash pickup and oh my God it was so good! The cheese steak burrito was absolutely amazing and the tacos were really good and fairly inexpensive. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

My husband and I go to many Mexican restaurants in the Quad City and surrounding areas. This is a good one! It is open on Sundays, and some Mexican restaurants are not. If you like Horchata, order yourself a glass here. You get a nice size glass mug of it. Food is great quality and consistent from one visit to the next.

We took out family of four here for dinner on a Saturday night. It looked really crowded upon arrival but we got a seat right away and the service was fast and outstanding. We ordered Arroz con Pollo (teenager approved), Tacos el Pastor (very good especially the hot sauce that came with it), Spicy Shrimp (shrimp was good and very spicy) and Steak Tacos Especial (authentic, loaded with cilantro and avocado. Our waitress was so attentive and fun. A great addition to Galesburg.

We come here when we are in town visiting family. Our group had a variety of entrees, steak and Guadalajara chimi, shrimp tacos, California burrito, etc. Everyone agreed they were excellent and nice size portions. Service was great (thanks Chris) and the complimentary chips were warm and for those in our party who like cilantro the salsa was very good. Had a great time! Thanks, Linda G

Servers are wonderful! The food is amazing!! It was so busy that it seemed short staffed on the server end, which is why I gave a 4. Also, guests should be aware of what they are ordering. There is a gentleman who helps bring out the food for tables and calls out each entrée. Guests who visit should keep in mind that this is an authentic Hispanic establishment, and not everyone who works there is fluent in the english language.. For the sake of not stressing out the staff, please remember your order so this man doesn't have to hold 6 HOT PLATES repeating himself 8 times..
